Nice. Though you could have put more effort in the last bit there. Where the car fades in. I think you could make it look alot better if you didnt just let the car fade in.
Great tut otherwise. Didnt know bout that “hide layer”btn. Thanks!

Yeah I probably could have made the last part a bit better. I originally wanted to have the CC Mercury just fill into the entire car, but then I’d have no way to undistort the car because Mercury makes it all funny looking.
If you want to make it look a little more interesting you could try the ‘Dissolve’ transitions located in Effects and Presets>Animation Presets>Presets>Transisitions – Dissolves
Trim the car comp, the one that fades in with the mask, to the point when you want it to start appearing, then apply one of the transitions. Scanlines gives a pretty cool effect.

HI there …….. I really enjoy your tutorials and the fact you share your talent. I have only one question or maybe a suggestion ……. is it possible to do the videos at 1024×768 just so they show up clearer on the monitor. I find the blurriness makes it hard to see and follow along.
CHEERS and THANKS Loads
